Your Responsibilities.

• You are responsible for the adaptation and further development of image processing algorithms for inspection systems with camera technology (GigE Vision interface), sensors, optics, and lighting.
• You determine required components for our visual inspection systems (camera, lighting, lens).
• You take ownership for the integration, commissioning, and functional testing of the inspection systems.
• You carry out troubleshooting activities.
• You prepare feasibility analyses for new samples / requirements of the customer.

Your requirements.

Must haves:

• A university degree in mechatronics, electrical engineering, computer vision or a comparable qualification.
• Professional experience in a comparable position in image processing or in the field of machine vision or computer vision.
• Sound knowledge in automation, ideally in industrial image processing (optics, camera, lighting).
• Experience with common image processing systems (preferably MVTec Halcon).
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.

Nice to have:

• Experience in the semiconductor industry.
• Knowledge of SEMI standards.
• Experience with agile methods (Scrum) in software development.
