Pharmacological profiling of herbal medicines / Development of analytical methods / Product development

 

Max Zeller Söhne AG is a Swiss family-owned phyto-pharmaceutical company, specialized in the development, production and marketing of phyto-pharmaceuticals with clinically proven efficacy, safety and tolerability. Our success is based on the development of evidence based herbal medicines. Our main research focus is on CNS related, allergy, metabolic, and gynecological indications.

 

We have openings for internships (minimum 6 months) or Master theses in ongoing research projects in our preclinical research department, in the department for analytical development of herbal substances or our department for product development.

 

We are looking for motivated science students (biology, chemistry and life sciences) who are interested in gaining industrial experience in a small, but highly dynamic team. Our company is located in Romanshorn at the south shore of Lake Constance.

 

Our preclinical department is specialized in the development of bioassays for testing plant extracts, fractions and single compounds. We use state of the art functional assays applying various readouts.

 

Projects in our analytical department include the development and validation of state of the art analytical methods for natural compounds.

 

The product development department focuses on the development of new herbal extracts and  their processing into pharmaceutical formulations.
