About us
University of Konstanz. The University of Excellence with over 10,000 students from more than 90 countries enjoys an excellent reputation nationwide and also on an international level. The range of courses includes mainly newly designed Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programmes in around 40 subjects in the natural sciences, social sciences and humanities. The University of Konstanz occupies top positions in numerous rankings and has thus become an insider’s tip among the best universities in Germany. Over 1,900 students graduate from the University of Konstanz every year. In addition to Bachelor’s and Master’s examinations, Diplom and Magister examinations as well as state examinations (law, teaching) and doctorates are also taken.
Career Service. The Career Service is the organiser of the Career Day kontaktpunkt at the University of Konstanz. As a service institution for students, doctoral students and graduates of the University of Konstanz, it supports and advises this target group in all matters relating to career orientation, applications, internships and career entry. For employers who are looking for qualified junior staff, the Career Service is available as a contact and interface to students and graduates of the University of Konstanz.

Federal Employment Agency (Agentur für Arbeit) Konstanz-Ravensburg. At the Federal Employment Agency you will find the appropriate contact person for all study, career and labour market issues. If you want to know how and where you can find a suitable apprenticeship place or a job that suits you, or if you want to start your own business, the Employment Agency is the right place to go. Here you can get support in optimising your application documents or in developing strategies for starting a career. You can also find information about postgraduate studies, Master’s programmes, MBAs or further vocational training.
Chamber of Industry and Commerce (Industrie- und Handelskammer) Hochrhein-Bodensee. The Chamber of Industry and Commerce Hochrhein-Bodensee was created in 1973 as part of the administrative reform in Baden-Württemberg from the two chambers of Constance and Hochrhein. Its district covers the counties of Constance, Waldshut and Lörrach. Today, with its headquarters in Constance and the main office in Schopfheim, it looks after more than 33,000 member companies from industry, trade and services. One of its most important tasks is cross-border cooperation with the neighbouring countries of Switzerland, France, Liechtenstein and Austria. As the “self-administration of the economy”, the IHK assumes a large number of governmental tasks. More than 2,000 volunteers from business and educational institutions help the 69 permanent employees to do this.
Konstanz University of Applied Sciences (HTWG). The HTWG was founded in 1906 as “Technikum Konstanz”. It is the southernmost university in Germany. The university profile is predominantly oriented towards technology and engineering. Currently, HTWG offers Bachelor’s and Master’s programmes in the fields of technology, business, technology & economics and design. HTWG has an international focus, especially on the economic region of Asia. Exchange programmes with universities in English-speaking countries are being pushed.
